Rachel Szafranski


Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, working towards licensure in early 2025. Comprehensively trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution focused therapy (SFT).

Rachel Szafranski has been working with individuals and families since 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Education degree from University of Central Florida in 2000 and a Master’s in Education from University of Central Florida in 2002. She then decided to go back to school and get her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from University of Central Florida and graduated in 2022. She is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in the state of Florida (License # IMT 3854). Rachel is extensively trained in mood and anxiety disorders, depression, relationships, family conflict, adjustment disorders, and women issues.

Rachel has a passion for helping those struggling in life. Her overall goal is to lead clients towards a place of their own self-determination by encouraging them to meet each new day with purpose and care. She believes in the importance of normalizing the vast emotions that occur within the human experience as well as the time and attention it takes to learn techniques that help to improve the overall balance in one’s daily life.

In years past, Rachel has devoted her time to helping others in the school system as a teacher, and as a therapist, while working with at risk women. She strives to actively listen, validate, and understand the needs of her clients. She utilizes a strengths-based model that empowers her clients to find balance and sustain wellness within their everyday experiences. Her energetic demeanor and educational background tap into the clinical skills to help provide her clients with practical strategies and everyday coping skills that aid in overall life enhancement. Rachel has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She is currently working to become trained in EMDR and certified in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
