About
Morgan graduated with a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and is a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PHM-C). She is a Clinical Supervisor in the state of Florida, Adoption Competent Licensed Mentalh Health Professional and has extensive training in perinatal mood disorders, addictions, trauma, adoption, grief, and EMDR. Morgan is a Clinical Fellow of The American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, a Gottman Seven Principles and Bringing Baby Home Educator, and trained in Gottman Level 1 Couples Therapy.
Morgan uses a collaborative, client-centered, solution-oriented approach to discover how each client’s individual experience can be embraced as an opportunity for growth, increased learning, and forward movement. Morgan’s diverse background has helped her to develop strong communication and people skills enabling her to create an environment where people feel safe and willing to grow.
Morgan is an advocate for women and families and believes strongly in the need to increase perinatal and postpartum education in the medical and mainstream communities. She is a member of numerous local and national organizations focused on these goals. Morgan is the co-founder and Vice-President of the Central Florida Postpartum Alliance, which strives to raise awareness, provide support, resources, and treatment referrals to those impacted by Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder. She most recently was an expert panelist for the 106.7 Perinatal Forum and Hats Off To Mothers Conference.
She most recently was a speaker and an expert panelist for Orlando Mom Collective Bloom 2021, 106.7 Perinatal Forum, and Hats Off To Mothers Conference.
