Darcy Fritz


Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified Supervisor, Certified Prepare & Enrich Facilitator and extensively trained in EMDR, medical social work, grief, chronic illness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

Darcy graduated with a Master’s in Social Work degree from Florida State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. For over 11 years, she has worked in medical settings in multiple capacities, supporting clients of all ages to cope with their medical diagnoses and struggles. She has provided extensive counseling with many populations, including individuals, families, couples, children/adolescents, and groups. Darcy is currently working towards becoming a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional and a Certified EMDR Therapist.

Darcy is devoted to her clients and utilizes a collaborative approach in counseling. She believes that everyone deserves a safe space to process their feelings and learn through self-discovery how to feel in control of their life. Darcy has always been passionate about helping others, especially those in transition. She feels that change is attainable for everyone as long as they are willing to begin the journey. She finds it very rewarding to assist clients with this journey.

Darcy offers a safe, supportive environment that promotes understanding and growth. She equips her clients with tools and skills, to not only help them overcome their struggles, but to come out stronger. Her aim is to help her clients feel more whole, more capable, and to facilitate self-understanding. Darcy’s therapeutic goal is to empower the clients and to help them feel heard, understood, and validated along the way. Darcy is a lover and advocate of counseling because she too has experienced it's life changing effect.
